Breathe in this moment and feel the fullness of life!

Updated: Dec 28, 2019

Greetings and Good Monday Morning!

As many of us return to “work” from the Thanksgiving holiday, I just want you to take a brief moment to reflect on your life. In the last week, I hope that you‘ve had an opportunity to be with the people that complete you, and bask in your life for a moment in time. We all have something to be thankful for and can find value in our daily lives. Although, times can be hard, the old adage that ”there’s someone worse off than you”, always rings true when we put things into perspective. So, there’s no reason to feel down or beat yourself up! I just want to remind you to remember to take a moment to breathe and feel life, your life and it’s fullness! So let’s dive into this week’s message.

Thanksgiving 2019, for me, was perfect! I love this time of year, and to spend it cooking and eating with my husband and son, in-laws, and talking to my family back home in N.C. was just what I needed. At one point, I had to stop and just take it all in, and that’s when I took a deep breath; relaxed and realized how full my life is. I accepted my happiness, and just lived in that moment. Every point in this weekend, I allowed myself to unplug from the world and be present with my family. They deserved that from me. In breathing in the moment, and feeling the fullness of life one must be free of distractions. With that said, I only posted one social media post during the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was on the Saturday after the holiday. How about you? When you look back over this past weekend, did you live in the moment? If not, going forward each day I want to encourage you to take a moment to breathe and live. Allow yourself to fully unplug from all of the distractions around you, and allow yourself to be present for the people you care for, and most importantly be present for youself! Life is so full of goodness and abundance, but we have to be a free flowing vessel willing to let it in.

“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other island; there is no other life but this.”

~ Henry David Thoreau
