Hey there ladies!
Today, I'm back with an awesome topic, and I've decided to talk about another one of my favorite items in my makeup kit. I think that it is probably just as important as your primer and foundation. If primer and foundation sets up your face for a clear canvas to start, then the eyeshadow is your paint in my humble opinion. You cannot have a perfect look without the right kind of eyeshadows. Some are awesome and some are lack-luster falling short of all the hype. So, in this post, I thought that I would share some of favorites right now.
Here are 3 of my Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes:
1. Juvia's Place
2. IMAGIC PROfessional Cosmetics 16 Color Eyeshadow Palette
3. Rude Cosmetics C'est Fantastique Eyeshadow Palette
At the top of the list is Juvia's Place. I kind of stumbled upon this brand as it was emerging, and interestingly, my first eyeshadow and blush palettes were given to me as Christmas gifts. Needless to say, I've been hooked on them ever since. Although, I don't have a ton of their palettes (I actually have a dear friend that admitted to me a few days ago, to having 54 of Juvia's Place palettes.😲😳🤦🏾♀️ Honestly, I'm secretly trying to get to that level, but I need space in my home and for my husband to turn his head in the opposite direction! That's right nothing to see here!😂)
I truly love their palettes for the quality of the pigmentation, the ease in which they can be applied, and there is very little fall out. Another one of the wonderful things that I love about Juvia's Place products is that they are ethnically inspired. It's nice to have a makeup palette that makes me feel like I can relate or connect with as an African-American woman. I love the evolution of makeup as more colors and options are available for women of color. These palettes have fierce bold colors and it is one of my most used palettes.
I love the IMAGIC PROfessional Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette because, it's so creamy and nice. It is really a great quality eyeshadow palette that's really affordable. The eyeshadow in this palette glides on. It has a beautiful finish that I couldn't help but love it! This palette is wonderful, it always make my make up pop! There is very little fallout and to be honest, I love the pigmentation. I highly recommend this palette as well, and it's usually one of my "go to" palettes for my more dramatic and elegant looks. This palette is available on Amazon.
Finally, to round out this group of my favorite makeup palettes, is the "C'est Fantastique" by Rude Cosmetics. I fell in love with this palette this year when I attended a Drag Masterclass at The Academy of Makeup in Cockeysville, MD, March 2019. This palette was used by Celebrity Makeup Artist, Frederick Sanders to complete the look on his drag model that day, Click here to see photos. I immediately ordered the palette that day when he told us about it and where to get it. I must say, that I use this palette frequently. The pigmentation of this palette is great. I typically love to use this palette when, I want a fun and funky look, or when I need to have a very vibrant look. This palette also does not have a lot of fallout. I will say that I do have to use a lighter eyeshadow or a concealer to get those vibrant colors to pop. Other than that, if the fact that this palette is sold out on their website isn't an indicator, I would let you know, that it's definitely a must have in your makeup kit! I simply love, love, love it!
Well there you have it! I hope that you have an opportunity to try out these eyeshadow palettes. If you do, please feel free to share your look! I'd love to see it. I hope that you've found this reading helpful. Thank you for taking the time to visit and read this blog today!
